The Atlanta Open, designated a Future Champions Series competition in 2003 and 2005, was conducted during June 12th - 14th, 2008 and hosted nearly 400 competitors from No Test through Senior and Adult Pre-Bronze through Gold levels. Events included free skate, short program, compulsory moves, jumps, spins, pairs, and solo and couples dance. Two members of the Space Coast Iceplex Figure Skating Club participated in the Atlanta Open with the following results:
