Coach Andrey Baka and two of his freestyle skaters (Antonina Rusetskaya and Nathaniel Wilson) attended the 2008 Liberty Summer Competition at the Ice Works Arena in Aston, Pennsylvania from July 15th to July 18th, 2008. Approximately 950 national and international skaters attended this "Pre-National Event." Competitors included Rachael Flatt (Gold Medalist at 2008 World Junior Championships and Silver Medalist at 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships), Jeremy Abbott (4th place finisher at 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships), and Ryan Bradley (5th place finisher at 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships). Also attending was Benjamin Agosto (Gold Medalist at 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships and Silver Medalist at 2006 Olympic Games).
