This is a great program for the beginner or intermediate hockey players who want to improve on their hockey skills. We will focus much of our attention on many different skating techniques, as well as stick handling and shooting. We will also do several game concepts drills to give each player a better understanding of how the game is played. At the end of every session, we will leave time for a 1/2 ice scrimmage to put our skills to the test and get lot of puck position time.

Space Coast Iceplex Summer Adult League
B League: Starts Jun 1st (Schedule on back) § 3 – 20 minute stop time periods with 1.5 hour curfew. § 5 minute run time 4 on 4 overtime. § Sudden death shootout. § 9 game guarantee season including playoffs. § Game times: 7:45pm or 9:30pm on Sunday’s. § 15 man roster plus goalie, each player must play in 4 games to qualify for playoffs. § USA Hockey registration required B League Playoff Format: Teams ranked 1 at seasons end will get a bye to final championship game on week 12. Teams ranked 2 vs 3 for semi final while 4 vs 5 play a consolation game on week 11. Final will be 1 vs winner of 2 & 3. B League Championship Game, 3-20 min stop time periods . No Curfew, Championship T-Shirts to the winners FEE: $2700 per team Iceplex Adult A & B Rules Drafted 2-09-08 (Subject to change) · All team are allowed to carry a twenty man roster dressing up to 18 skaters and 2 goalies. · All players must be USA Hockey registered for the 2007-2008 season. · Rostered players MUST play in 5 regular season games for the A division and 4 regular season games in the B division to qualify for Play-Offs. · Players can ONLY be roster on one team in the A league and one team in the B League. No NON- rostered substitutes are allowed except for and emergency goalie. Emergency substitute goalies are only allowed if approved by the league directors. Peter Nyman or Shawn Ray. · All players MUST wear the same color jersey and it MUST have a number that corresponds to the score sheet. · All teams MUST be in good financial standings with the Iceplex prior to the game or they will forfeit. · All players are required to check in at the table in the lobby for roster verification and jersey number check in prior to going to the locker room. · A team MUST have at least 5 rostered skaters and one rostered goalie dressed and ready to play or the league game is a forfeit. If this is the case the players will be welcome to use the ice to scrimmage open hockey style. Game Format and Rules · 5 min warm-up. Clock starts as soon as Zamboni doors close. · Three 20 min stop time periods. 1.5 hour curfew for B · No time outs and no break between periods except to change sides. · 5 min 4 on 4 running time OT when needed (Each team gets 1 point, winner of OT gets the extra point) · Sudden Death Shoot Out when needed (Each team gets 1 point, winner of Shoot Out gets the extra point) · Fighting-Automatic EJ, Fighting last 5 min- EJ plus 2 GM’s · Automatic Icing, Touch –Up Off-Sides · All other USA Hockey Rules Apply No arguing with officials.
