Freestyle Sessions at SCI
Freestyle Sessions are for advanced figure skaters who are training for competitions. Skaters on freestyle sessions have access to the sound system so that they may play their competition music. During freestyle sessions, it is expected that all individuals are aware of other skaters and coaches. First right-of-way should be given to a skater performing their program to music. Second right-of-way should be given to skaters in private lessons.
To encourage independent working and proper training habits, parents are encouraged to sit in the stands and are not permitted to stand in the doorways. Special video and harness lessons are available on freestyle sessions.
Requirements: Must have passed Basic 8 in SCI classes.

Private lessons are available during all of our freestyle session and public sessions. If you are in need of a little extra help or are serious about getting to the next level in the sport of figure skating, Private Lessons are for you! We have Private Lesson request forms at reception with all of our Private Lesson coaches information on it. Fill one out and a coaching staff member will get back to you about setting up a lesson time. Our coaches are sub-contracted and make their own schedules. Rates vary according to experience and personal accomplishments in the sport, and in some cases education. For additional information contact Natalia@spacecoasticeplex.com
