LATEST NEWS:

On April 5-7, the Space Coast Iceplex Figure Skating Club had 22 skaters compete in the Florida Open at the RDV Ice Den in Orlando.  Participating skaters were:  Amy Petit, Susan Smith, Stacey Faulk, Hana Hunter, Sasha O'Kane, Ava Grimaldi, Isabella Grignon, Brooke Thomas, Maddie Warren, Alex Ippolito, TJ Nyman, Melanie Mendez, Gianna Rotyliano, Michelle Smith, Hannah McDowall, Syrafina Mohammed, Kiersten Lloyd, Nicole Janders, Rachel Burns, Oliver Burris, Amanda Aker, and Nathaniel Wilson.  We had two skaters, Melanie Mendez and Aly Loyd, making their IJS competitive debut in IJS Intermediate Ladies division. Nathaniel Wilson made his senior IJS debut in Senior Men Short and Long Program.  We also had some first time competitors:  Syrafina Mohammed, Kiersten Lloyd, and Ava Grimaldi.  Our skaters brought home a total of 7 gold, 1 silver, 5 bronze, and 8 pewter medals.  The Florida Open was a qualifying competition for National Showcase, and we had 7 skaters qualify:  Hana Hunter, Susan Smith, Isabella Grignon, Brooke Thomas, Alex Ippolito, TJ Nyman, and Melanie Mendez.  Congratulations to all our skaters on a job well done!

Competition Reimbursement 

The Committee of the SCIP FSC have opened the opportunity for it's membership to apply for "Competition Reimbursement" for skaters to apply for funds to help defray entry fees/registrations from competitive skaters or teams entering a USFS Regional, Sectional, Nationals or International qualifying competition.

All applicants will need to complete the following 2 application forms and submit to the committee for consideration. (click below for forms)
